II is hard to find a fair Heating and Air company.. However, I think I have.
We had animals in our crawl space damage our AC venting and return, in the middle of this extreme heat. wave and It was going to take a few days to schedule service, My wife has a breathing condition, and as well cannot travel. The scheduling person, Tracy, relayed my concern to the owner Mark, and when the tech arrived, they were prepared to offer us 2 loaner window units to use until we got our unit repaired. It was a thoughtful and unexpected offer, and is getting us through what would have been a trying and stressful time. I appreciate them all.
Could not ask for a better company to have your system maintenanced and repaired. Always on time or ahead of schedule. Every technician that has came out to do 6 months maintenance has been professional, courteous, friendly and they explain everything they are doing.
Nice professional workers. Installed my mini split and cleaned up everything.

This AC company is my go to for all the HVAC work I need done. The work is top notch and the techs really know their jobs, very friendly and patient explaining what they are doing.
Touchstone has always went above and beyond with all of our service calls. We have used Touchstone for units on 3 different houses, including complete removal and installs of duct work and units, and they have been fantastic. Ronald, Toby, and everyone else who has ever assisted us have always been professional, courteous, and caring. I can not say enough good things about this company.
The owner Mark is in a league of his own. He genuinely cares for his customers and helps in any way he can, even to the point of lifting new washers over top of banister railings and putting on lawn mower belts to someone he just met. His respect for his customers, employees, and everyone he meets will keep me a loyal lifelong customer. Touchstone is who I always refer for any heating or ac needs. You will not be disappointed!

Our a/c started blowing warm, and the outside unit wouldn't turn on. We have AHS s as a home insurance company. We don't get to pick the contractors they send for repairs. Guy came out and in less than two minutes says we needed a new compressor quit checking the capacitors even. I'm certainly not an a/c expert, but how can you say a compressor in less than two minutes without even checking anything. He just wanted to charge me $750 for Freon which the warranty company doesn't cover.
I was not happy so I sucked it up and called Touchstone at my own expense for second opinion. First person I talked to was Hannah. She was amazing!
Jonathan came out. I can't say enough good about him. Patient, understanding, helpful, thorough, honest, and the list goes on. He immediately started trying to actually diagnose. Turned out not one but two capacitors were bad. He said he was pretty certain that once he replaced a few things that it would been fixed. He worked hard and installed everything, but after a little while seemed to have a look of disappointment on his face.
He came to me and let me know that it really was the compressor. He legitimately was upset to have to give me that news. I asked about replacing it, and our unit is so old he says it would be about half as much as just getting a new unit. He did show me the price, and it would have been nearly $5,000 to fix on a 17yr old unit. Not worth it.
Had him quote me on a new system. Gave me three different options varying in prices of course. I let him know that with that much money that I'd have to check around and get other estimates. He says he understood and he explained straight up that they would not be the least expensive but he explained why and what I would get with them.
I was so impressed with how Hannah and he treated me, I decided to go with them rather than even getting other estimates. I went down to their office, spoke with the owner, who was also amazing, and arranged installation.
They were here THE NEXT DAY and had it done before 1pm. Wow!
One other thing that needs to be said. My wife and I could not be home because we were at work. I simply left the garage unlocked, and they did everything without us having to be here.
It's not often you spend this kind of money and feel good about the whole process. I can't recommend them enough!!
Using Touchstone for the first time. Very pleasant when contacted and was able to assist the same day. Jonathan arrived and was very professional, resolving the problem very quickly. Would definitely recommend Touchstone Heating and Air.
